About the Collection

The Humber History collection is 4000+ photographs spanning Humber’s beginning to its present. The photographs, digitized in 2015, are from a variety of sources. The collection will continue to grow as other sources are discovered. Let us know if your department or academic school has archival material.

In 2012, photographs from Jim Brady and David Lui were digitized and made available on another platform. These collections will be moved to the Humber History website for easier access.

The photographs in the collection may be used, without permission, for the purposes of education, research, private study and news reporting. Remember to cite the source: Archive Photo HB-071. Retrieved from library.humber.ca/collections/archive.

Email libaccess@humber.ca with any comments or questions, including requests for staff photos. We have a collection of digitized staff photos spanning 1972 to 2013 available upon request.

Special thanks to Lynne Bentley, Nancy Burt, Paul Petch and Robert Botham for preparing the descriptions of the photographs.
