The Draimaxion Multibarge: Great Lakes Region Marine Transportation

The following report is the research and development documentation for the design of an innovative marine transportation solution for the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Seaway (GLSLS). The concept is intended to reduce the environmental and social costs of traditional highway freight by moving intermodal containers by water rather than road. The report describes a variety of design methods applied from project kickoff to final concept presentation.
