Abstract:
With the increasing number of Southeast Asian international students in Canadian public relations programs, it is essential to understand how language efficiency and cultural differences play an important role in students' academic achievements. This study employs primary and secondary research to answer the question: What impacts do cultural differences have on Southeast Asian international students' academic success in public relations programs? In this thesis, the two factors discussed to determine their influence on students' learning outcomes are language efficiency and cultural differences. The surveys were randomly distributed through social media platforms. This research will be valuable for Canadian public relations programs and Southeast Asian students or Asian students who want to pursue public relations education in Canada.
