The Future of Forensic Accounting

In choosing this research study, the authors wanted to take an in-depth look at the forensic accounting profession, and analyze the effects that technology has on the industry. The objective of this report is to cultivate an understanding of the future of forensic accounting while examining the ways in which technology may affect the industry. There has been an increased integration of computer systems within the financial industry. This increased reliance on technology has created a need to be able to use the investigative tools that are available, due to the growth of fraud cases.
