ONECard @ Humber Libraries

Your virtual ONECard is one of the most important and convenient digital tools you'll need while at Humber and at University of Guelph-Humber.

For the College

ONECard is available to students and staff at Humber College and the University of Guelph-Humber. ONECard is a smartphone application that will be used by students, faculty and staff as their digital identification, digital key and digital wallet solution for campus-wide services. It’s free, easy to use and secure.

For the Library: International Graduate School

Get started by downloading the Avro Mobile app from either Google Play or the App Store.

  • It can take up to 24 hours for the app to work on campus.

Use your ONECard to access the Book Lending Machine in the learning commons alcove on the 4th floor.at the IGS.

  1. Open the Avro Mobile app on your mobile device.
  2. Bring your mobile device close to the reader below the Welcome screen.
    • If the reader doesn’t recognize your device then use the keypad to enter your barcode (found in the Library Barcode section of the app).
  3. Open the door.
  4. To borrow a book, take it off the shelf. To return a book, place it on any shelf.
  5. Close the door firmly.
  6. Loan receipts will be sent automatically by email.

For the Library: North and Lakeshore campuses

Get started by downloading the Avro Mobile app from either Google Play or the App Store.

  • It can take up to 24 hours for the app to work on campus.

Use your ONECard to borrow physical items at the circulation desk.

  • Bring your mobile device close to the reader or open the Library Barcode section of the app and show it to staff.
  • Loan receipts will be sent automatically by email.

Use your ONECard to borrow books at the self-check kiosks.

  1. Open the Avro Mobile app on your mobile device.
  2. You have options for this step:
    • Option 1: Bring your mobile device close to the reader on the front of the machine.
    • Option 2: Bring your mobile device close to the barcode scanner to scan your barcode (found in the Library Barcode section of the app).
    • If the scanner doesn’t recognize your device then go to the circulation desk.
  3. Follow the instructions on the screen to borrow books.
  4. Loan receipts will be sent automatically by email.
