A view from behind the platform party provides a sense of how large this Convocation event was. Even though Humber's graduating class at the time was still quite small, the Convocation event attracted many family members in support of the graduating class. Humber was still in very much a rural setting as can be seen by the vast empty fields beyond the guests. The apartments that can be seen in the far distance are actually on Kipling Avenue about two miles away.
