Abstract:
Food delivery in urban areas is a quickly growing industry and many restaurants rely on them to provide an essential service. However, food couriers often find themselves without support in a few key areas as the working condition. Many couriers find themselves will often find themselves loitering around businesses due to the lack of a dedicated space. Additionally, couriers are worried about the security of their equipment which could get stolen while they are out making their deliveries. Newer couriers, often have to rely on equipment they own but are not designed for food delivery, which may lead to ergonomic injuries down the road. Maverick is a comprehensive food delivery solution that is designed to address these issues and improve the experience of these workers.
